Here is another recent test that was very suspicious to me at the time. He made some admissions at a later time.

And the computer score...

Yet another reason to carefully inpect and hand-score every test.

There is quite a lot of history and story behind this guy.

(I scored the relevant to the highest comparison) My score without taking the countermeasures in account, was R5 +4 and R6 +2. You can see some movement with the activity sensor on the comparison and irrelevant questions and the breathing is controlled throughout. He also appears to be controlling the pneumo reactions on the comparisons. What happened to the GSR on the third chart? Not taking the CM into account, I would have a total of +6; however, I would have called the exam INCONCLUSIVE due to counter measures being used in an attempt to defeat the polygraph. This is also another reason to invest the the countermeasure sensor!

I recently purchased Identifi and I rarely agree with it. Since I don't have a QC readily available to review a chart at the time of completion, I will usually run Polyscore or Identifi and see those results. If there is a discrepancy between the computer scoring and my hand scores, I will again review the charts. Regardless, I always go with my hand scores.

What admissions did this person make? and what was your official call? Taylor

I score them as INC (Utah rules, conservative on the too good to be true cardios). BUT, I get a -5 total on the pneumos and a +5 on the cardios, a clue that CMs are present (or some other problem) as they should both be on the same side of 0.

As an aside, I agree with Identfi often, but you should never base decisions on scoring software. It's just a nice second set of eyes when nobody else can hand score.

I don't like the look of this test.

I don't know what happened to the EDA on chart 3 - its looks like it might be the result of some movement.

I called it INC.

It is a court ordered polygraph on a child porn offender who has teenage children.

He pled guilty and awaits sentencing.

The mother is currently incarcerated, and the court is considering allowing the children to live with him while on probation.

The test is regarding sexual contact with his children, while there is no allegation or accusation.

He takes one med for axiety and depression, and two anti-psychotics for sedation. I imagine he's like a puppy with an erection when he's off his meds - probably trying to hump on everyone and everything.

He's been hospitalized twice for suicidality during the past year (since the time of the arrest). He's been treated for mental health problems since age 18, including with Thorazine in the past.

He malingers with his mental health, but was employed as an engineer (not dumb). He really is a tormented person.

Afterward, he admitted to drinking on the morning of the exam (just to calm his nerves of course). He did not appear to be intoxicated.

So, I seem to get all the head-cases.

Anyone think the court should consider his children safe?

I have a couple of interesting tests on a Ph.D neuropsychologist, a Ph.D. biology professor, and a Ph.D. psychologist, and fixated-pedophile attorney.
